I've just discovered the FREECYCLE site. Basically if you have something you want to get rid of but is too good just to be thrown away but probably wouldn't sell on ebay either then you can put it on this site. The idea is it must be free and the person who wants it must collect it from you.
Everyone in Berkshire must be green friendly as the EAST BERKSHIRE section has a few hundred members. I will be trying this out soon! Heres the link for my local bit.
