It was a lovely sunny bright October day yesterday, so we hit on the idea of going to Beachy Head near Eastbourne. Never been before, but found it to be very picturesque.
In the evening we went on the pier at Eastbourne, just as thousands of starlings came into to bed down for the night - are they the same ones that use to camp out at the old pier in Brighton beofre it burnt down? I'm sure I recognized a couple!
