THE NORTH STAR 'PUB' HARROW
About a month or so ago I went with Pat and her sister Liz to Harrow to do a bit of family history research! The Chappell family originate from Harrow and there are references in the church on Harrow on the Hill of a Chappell in 1742. Anyway, not sure which but some relative or other used to own the North Star pub in Harrow. Now we had heard it had now been turned into a family home -which indeed it has but as you can see they kept the pub signage - the only way you'd really know it wasn't a pub is if you try to enter the doors to find them locked and a sign saying Private House on them. Over to Lyn to update the comments bit of this to tell me exactly which relatives they were.....
