BEACH HUTS HENGISBURY HEAD, CHRISTCHURCH

Went for a walk around Hengisbury Head, Christchurch, yesterday. Had a wonderful meal in a cafe/resteraunt place on the beach - called the BEACH HUT I think... Pat had fish cakes and I had an all day breakfast with extra sausage. Followed it up with cheese and biscuits and a hot chocolate with cream and flake. Also had a marvelous mulled wine.
Anyway , there are loads of beach huts there - here's a photo I took. One time we went there we thought it would be nice to buy a beach hut as a base to go to - we thought that they couldn't cost more than about £10,000 at the most... wrong they cost about £115,000 plus council tax, water rates etc etc!!
It's mad! Great view but it's still only a big shed.
