Cadeques, Spain
Blimey can you believe it we've been away again! Never been away so much before in such a short space of time! This time a return to the place owned by Phil Mison where we got engaged and had our honeymoon. St Cyprien in France, 1 hour from the border with Spain. We went for 5 days this time with a very very cheap Ryanair flight to Girona.
It's then simply a short hop onto the motorway and one hour later we arrived in France.
Highlights this time - we went to Carcassonne, a medievil walled city where we spent Pats birthday in a little resteraunt eating Toulouse sausages and being serenaded by a Catalan guitarist. The drive there was spectacular, through the Rousillon vineyards.
We returned to one of our favourite places , Couillere favoured by artists such as Picasso and on the last day we went to Cadaques in Spain - beautiful whitewashed houses and favoured this time by Dali - he had his home just dwon the coast. And we did a lot of relaxing. And drinking wine. Thanks Phil for use of the house!
